Congress is the highest authority of SADU which is convened every five years or in case of necessity.
The number, composition and structure of the delegates of the Congress are determined by a special decision of the Presidency.
Congress has the following responsibilities:
- adopts Rules of procedures for the Congress;
- adopts Statute and Working Programme of SADU;
- adopts the report of the Presidency for the activities of SADU and the Report of the Steering Committee;
- conduct the election of President of SADU;
- verify the mandate of the members of the Presidency;
- conduct election of members and deputy members of the Steering Committee and the Statutory Commission;
- adopts a decision on joining and separation;
- adopts a decision to terminate the working of the Trade Union.
- the Congress is managed by working Presidency of 3 members elected on the Presidency.
