This year we are joining the virtual celebration of the International labor day.
We cannot meet in the squares or on the streets, nor can we celebrate the day with a march. The current corona virus pandemic makes this impossible, but that does not mean that the work of the unions has stopped.
EPSU (European public service union) has made a virtual celebration of this day through the hashtag #virtualmayday which will show all the videos and events with which workers around the world are fighting for Future for All.

The Trade union of public and state administration of Macedonia- SADU within the country joins the joins the trade union proclamation published by the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Macedonia, which expresses concern about the poor economic and social situation in the country and especially for most workers whose monthly income do not even provide a minimum standard of living for their families.
Although in the last few years we have been facing violations of workers’ rights, and we will especially mention that this period of dealing with corona pandemic is a very difficult period for workers in Macedonia, SADU makes effort to preserve and improve workers’ rights in the country.
SADU constantly educates its members on the rights and obligations of the workers. It constantly monitors the situation in the public sector and presents its views and initiatives to deal with any situation we face. At the same time, it joins all the initiatives, activities, protests and strikes organised by the Confederation of free trade unions of Macedonia as a national union where SADU is one of the branch trade unions.
Trade union of public and state administration of Macedonia congratulates the International Labor Day to all workers in Macedonia.
